MINDFULNESS-A Talk on Mental Health
The Women Cell of Bishop Moore College, Mavelikara, organized a session titled "Mindfulness: A Class to Foster Emotional Intelligence and Positive Mental Attitude." The class was led by Ms. Reshma Jyothi S., the Jeevani Counsellor of the college. The session focused on understanding the concept of mindfulness and its role in enhancing mental health. Participants were introduced to various mindfulness techniques, which were also practiced and discussed during the session.
Dr. Anne Angeline Abraham, Vice Principal of the college, graced the event and highlighted the significance of mental well-being among students and staff. Dr. Siji K. Mary, Jeevani Coordinator; Dr. Rekha Rose Koshy; and Mrs. Neethu K. Daniel, Women Cell Co-Convenor, were also present.
The session witnessed active participation, with 45 students engaging in the activities and providing positive feedback. It was a highly enriching and impactful program.
