Central Library  

The Central Library of Bishop Moore College serves as the vital core of academic life, fostering collaboration, supporting research, and providing a diverse array of resources for learners at every stage. From its extensive collection to modern digital resources, collaborative spaces, and expert guidance, our library is a hub where knowledge thrives and where individuals embark on journeys of discovery. Join us in this intellectual haven as we celebrate the pursuit of knowledge and lifelong learning. The library provides remote access to the OPAC and Digital Library. The library is automated using the integrated library management software KOHA. The library always tries to disseminate the right information to the right person at the right time.

8.30AM-4.30PM (Monday-Friday)

10.00PM-4.00PM (Saturdays & Vacations)


Library Guidelines

  • Maintain discipline in the library and don’t disturb other users.
  • E-Gadgets are allowed in the library for academic use only,
  • The books issued shall be returned/ renewed within the 14th day of the issue.
  • If the student fails to bring the book within the 14th day of the issue a fine of RS 1/ day will be collected after the due date till the book is returned.
    In case of damage or loss of books, those books shall be replaced by the user, if the user fails to do so an amount that is three times the cost of the book will be collected along with the fine.
  • College ID card is compulsory for the book issue.
  • All undergraduate students shall be allowed to issue a maximum of 3 books at a time.
  • Don’t replace the books to the shelves .
  • Students are not allowed to take any personal belongings in the library other than pen and paper.
