To celebrate National Girl Child Day on 24th Jan 2023, 15 cadets of 3 (k) Girls Bn NCC, Kollam ( Bishop Moore College, Mavelikara ) with Maj Cigi P George honoured Sneha Jose, daughter of late Head Constable H C Jose Thariyan, with ponnadai. He served in NSG and later in 136 Bn BSF as the head. He finally met his end in a dispute with Pakistan while helping his fellow comrade.
