The Department of Zoology's association activities for the academic year 2024-25 commenced on November 4, 2024, with an inaugural function led by distinguished guest, Dr. Vinod P., Assistant Professor, PG and Research Department of Zoology, NSS College, Pandalam (Member, Academic Council-Zoology, University of Kerala). He delivered an insightful talk on "Microplastics and their Impacts on the Environment," highlighting the concerns of microplastic pollution. He emphasized the urgent need for collective action to mitigate its devastating environmental and health consequences.
