Post Graduate & Research Department of Chemistry & Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Bishop Moore College, Mavelikara conducted a Bridge Course for first year undergraduate B.Sc Chemistry students from 20th November 2021 to 30th November 2021.The main objective was to provide adequate foundation in chemistry so that students become confident for higher graduation studies and provides a better transition phase to prepare themselves before the onset of courses of first semester. The course offered hands on training on basic chemistry practical to develop the quantitative and qualitative analytical skills of students. The course stimulates the interest of the students in chemistry and equip them with a potential to contribute the academic requirements of society.27 students of BSc Chemistry participated in the 15 hour bridge course. An online test was conducted to assess the progress of students.
