Today’s event was organized in celebration of Kerala Farmer's Day 2023. With a primary objective of enlightening students about the significance of organic farming, sustainable agriculture and cultivating their own sustenance. The programme centred around imparting knowledge about essential aspects like the process of seed viability checking by floating test, and the technique of planting vegetable seedlings in moist cocopeat. The selected seeds for germination, including chilli, peas, lady's finger, and bitter gourd, were collected with the efforts of Bhoomithrasena members who had diligently collected these seeds over the past month. This event stands as a testament to the college’s commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious individuals equipped with the knowledge and skills to contribute positively to the planet
