With a teaching background spanning 7 years and a research tenure of 13 years, I am Dr. Lija K Joy, having earned my PhD from Cochin University of Science and Technology under the mentorship of Prof. M R Anantharaman. My doctoral work delves into the "Manifestation of Colossal Thermoelectric Power by Charge Ordered Small and Intermediate Bandwidth Manganites."

I conducted extensive research at the Institute of Physics, Technical University of Chemnitz in Germany, under the guidance of Prof. Manfred Albrecht. Furthermore, I secured approval for a project focused on "Thin films based on manganite's for thermoelectric applications" under the Indian Nanoelectronics Users Programme (INUP), IIT Bombay. My contributions include the publication of 15 articles in esteemed international journals.

Currently supervising 2 MPhil projects and guiding PhD students, my research interests revolve around Spintronics, with a particular emphasis on multiferroics and energy storage. An ongoing project, titled "Tailoring the Multiferroic and High-Performance Energy Storage Properties of CoFe2O4 through Y3+ and Zr4+ Ion Substitution," endorsed by the UGC DAE Consortium of Scientific Research, underscores my dedication to cutting-edge research. My diverse experiences, coupled with my leadership role in academia, provide a comprehensive perspective on materials and their role in advancing technology.
